Hey guys, do you know if it 's normal for my tune to have a .cef after it? I just received a new one from innovative and it ends with .cef. I emailed eric back asking but havent' heard back yet and want to know if it's safe to load on my truck. I've been off the forums so I'm not sure what's going on if the file names have changed or what. hope someon can help me out.

It's good to use, no problems. I wondered the same thing with some I recieved a few months ago. I know one of the differences is that the new file contains the serial # of your programmer, so it's meant for only your programmer to use. I don't know if there are any other changes, but my new tunes ran flawless.
that made it frustrating. I use vista and mcafee and I had to disable all virus protectin and spyware and everything else from my computer to successfully download the software and drivers. It's 2010, you'd think that sct would have it figured out by now. post 420 woohoo! lol
