Lock-up Issue

today my truck started doing a strange thing while in lock up. whether im in 3rd gear lock up or OD lock up, as soon as it hits 1,500 rpm it will kick out for a second and then kick back in. if i hold it at 1500 it will continue to kick in and out. just curious if anyone else has had this problem and any ideas on what it could be. thanks
 
Sounds like a apps ground thing.Suncoast has a fix for that it is really free.Just take and ground the apps.It fixed mine.
 
so are you saying take the gound to the apps and reground it somewhere else? or just check the ground itself
 
I was looking it up and cant find it.Just do a pin out on the apps find the ground and cut it.One goes to the apps ,ground it. The one that goes to the pcm ground it too.Thats the suncoast fix i guess you would call it.I ran mine to the battery.
 
if that doesn't work, wrap the brown wire coming from your alternator in tin foil...sounds crazy but you gotta try it haha
 
Ive been havin the same trouble. Thought it was something with the tranny. Sure am glad I saw this before I took it to the shop and wasted my money
