Lock up switch

Everyone does it different. When I pull mine, I lock it up when it hits 2nd, then when i quit moving the sled, and im just digging, I unlock it, and let out of it at the same time. Some people unlock it when they get close to the end so that you dont kill out with a big charger. IMO if you can keep spinning at the end without killing out, then you are best off to lock it up when it hits 2nd, and unlock it when the sled stops moving.

I've heard that unlocking it before the sled stops you that you'll gain a few feet. No personal experience, just what I've heard.
