Truck at work that we own that came in the shop this morning.
2004 F-550 167,928 miles, 2-04 build date, ICP in valve cover, 6.0.

Here's the symptoms: Long crank when cold (50-60 degrees F), starts and then stalls right away, will run but after 1 minute base oil pressure on guage in cluster goes to 0psi-well LOW anyway. If you step on the throttle to raise rpm by only a few hundred the oil pressure goes back into normal range untill engine dies again, ICP does not change and shows normal #'s. :bangWe plan to put a mechanical oil psi guage in tomorrow and see what happens. Any ideas?:poke:

When did this start happening? I assume it has been driven hard

Not sure when it started. Just got handed the work order and pointed to where the truck was parked.
