Looking at a Buying a CR

Hey guys. I'm strongly considering selling my VP and getting an 04.5-05 CR. I don't know very much about the CR's so please be patient with me. I know for sure that it will be an auto and it will get a full built Goerends. After that I really don't know where to go. I'm wanting to run anywhere from 600-700 hp. The truck will be daily driven, rarely pull a trailer, and may sled pull every now and then. I have done searches and looked at 10,000 different setups and combos and just get more and more confused. What would you guys do for a 600-700 hp daily driven truck? I'm going to set the budget at 10k. Thanks in advance.

first off i would suggest getting a 03-04 truck they have less issues with the pistons melting down due to not having a third injection event.

as for mods i would suggest a set of twins either a 57 or 62 over a s475 modded cp3 either stage 2 or 3 and a set of 120 or 150 tips. cam, springs and pushrods would help with spool up as well.

See this is where I'm lost. I know nothing about the problems with the CR, other than the injector problems on the early ones. Thanks for the heads up!
