I am new to the site so lookin for some advise. I want to build my truck to start doing some pulling. My truck is bone stock I want to get a programmer, lift pump, and a better clutch. I think I will start with a lift pump. I am looking at a Raptor 150 GPH is this a good pump for my plans or should I look at something else.

Raptor 150 will flow enough fuel for alot of upgraded power applications to your truck. My personal input is buy the airdog or fass due to the fact that they have filters on them helping your fuel out with better filtration. JMO....

My opinion raptor 150 is plenty just run the stock filter. Btw i believe their are tons of threads already over lift pumps. Use the search feature.

If you use a raptor or airdog, how do you bypass the OE lift pump? Will a 100gph be enough for an edge drag comp on a 99 ?
Thanks

Just installed an Airdog 100gph last night on someone's truck, very nice product. And since you bypass the factory lift pump and filter you can just remove them. I am going to order an Airdog 100gph fr my truck.

IMO get the full Airdog that uses its own filter and separator, and if you are going 150gph instead of a draw straw use Joe Hellmann's billet fuel tank sump.

So the parts are in there to bypass both those already? The fass replacement was only like 40gph so 100 may do him. I doubt I'll sell him on a hellman sump though. Thanks!

Ya the return line stays as it is from the factory but you can remove the fuel filter/pump if you want or just leave it there. If you want to remove it you need to have (2) m8 bolts that are about a 1/2" shorter than the ones holding the filter head onto the intake plate.
