I'm looking to pull in the 2.8 class in 08.
My truck has a 13mm p-pump, DDP comp injectors "73lpm",ported and polished head, o-ring and studs. cut pistons, balance for 4500rpm. Fass 150/200 pump and some other stuff. The truck does have an auto with a 89% converter in with full billet shafts. What would be the best 2.8 turbo to get with the fuel i have. Needs to have good spool up. I do like to drive it on the street on the weekends and some times i have to drive it to work ( mosty hwy). Looking at II phat shaft 71,Schieds 2.8 and A5K. Does any one have any good ideas. Thanks for the help.

Big Dodge didn't you run an s400 with a .9 housing? I think your convertor is too tight to give you what you want as far as good spooling.

I had an S400 with a 71mm comp wheel and 74mm exhaust wheel, .090 housing. my converter is the loosest suncoast has. it listed as 89%.

the scheid turbo will make by far the most power but will be harder to spool, its not to fun on the street

The wheel is plenty strong but a K31 has a smaller shaft then a s300. If you want durability get a 400, k31's spool easier but also take a chance on it blowin up quicker also.
