LOW BOOST! LOW POWER PROBLEM VP Truck????

Well, were to begin? I've put a few pennies in this thing and it runs good but not laying down what I expect. So I'm looking for some input. I have installed the following on the last round- Dragon Fire VP44, II 6X.016 edms, .120 tubes, Silver Bullet 66 Charger with a custom wheel. Install a Max spool 2.5++ cam. Had the head o-ringed, installed larger intake valves, studed. Have a FASS 150/150, edge juice with hot unlock and smarty revo. I put down 573.27HP and 1119.91 torque. I'm only hitting 50 to 55lbs of boost. I've adjusted the waste gate, clamped it shut, nothing changes! I've seen a bit more when towing 15k up a mountain.Trying to run the edge or smarty only destroys the numbers it seems????? Does drive alot better running them on the street, but doesn't show on the rollers. So if anyone out there has any ideas I'm open for suggestions.
 
I'm sure others can give better advice, but I think you need a fuel only box like TST, Adrenaline w/Pulse or Redline.
 
don't have a way of reading drive pressure. Been talking with II this morning, were thinking maybe a wrong keyway in the pump, which would cause issues up high or map sensor derating my fuel at a certain boost level. It just flat lines when it hits around 50lbs boost
 
Is it possible that since you are running bigger valves, big pump, big injectors, big cam that you are just running out of air flow? That Bullet has got to be hurting.
 
DAMN, I would hope not, everyone tells me it should support more than 700hp. II has trucks set up like mine to the T and there getting over 7
 
I don't know? Just guessing. It just sounds like you have alot of fuel & a little turbo getting choked to death.
 
the bullet is fine, from what ive read so far it seems the dragon pump does not like added electronics for some reason.

also 50-55 out of a bullet is right where you wanna be. mine was wastegated at 40 and with the gated disabled it would make about 55 max and it cleaned up everything i put through it.

and yes i would try a fueling only box like TST or redline and leaving the timing alone.
 
i would try a TST Comp box it 180hp box with fuel only. I know II know's there product its all i have on my truck, they are good at helping out the customer in my book
 
yes its a TST PowerMax3 Compition box, i had one on my 00 dually with 150sticks and fass 150 stock charge and did 367hp and 820tq, i just sold the box back in march for 200 bucks.
 
Those numbers sounds about right. TJ didnt you only hit about 575hp with your bullet and vp?
 
I don't know, but I'm gonna keep trying. I think 700 is possible with what I have just gotta work the bugs out and get the right tuning.
