Low power high egts

I have a 2001 24v ho 6 speed with 355 gears. It is stock other than a Airdog2 165 i just put on 1000 miles ago. The past few weeks it has lost power and has higher egt's than normal. Driving it sorta hard in 6th gear it is getting about 1250 with the probe before the turbo. It smokes black a little bit but the motor sounds good. I have looked everywhere for boost leaks tightened up all hoses. I drained the water separator it is clean I have a 2 micron Airdog fuel filter i installed a gauge to check pressure it is at 20psi with only a 2psi drop at full throttle. It has a k&n cone airfilter It is very clean. Can anyone help me

Could be that extra fuel. Maybe that vp is going down hill

thats what my 99 did when i lost the vp put on the new pump and back to normal

My truck also did the same thing about a month later the vp went complettely out
