lower control arm???

hey i have a stock height 3rd gen cummins and i was wondering about a long arm kit to tranfer move of the force to the center of the frame for sled pulling. Can i build a long lower control arm on a stock suspension. i was just wondering if it has enough clearence for the old mount to get around them?
