Id like to take my leveling kit off the front and lower the rear to level the truck.
Now, I'm not really wanting to lower it via shackles, I was thinking blocks...
I want to take me both over loads out too. So i was thinking 2" shorter blocks, Id still like to have a little bit of a rake.
Where is the best place to get blocks and new bolts?

Comments and experiences are welcomed...

this is kinda off the subject but,if you take off your front leveling kit would you be willing to sell them? if you could let me know how much id be interested.

If you take the leveling kit off, the truck should be ~2" higher in the rear. If you make 2" shorter blocks and remove the overloads, you'll likely be lower in the rear than the front.

If you aren't planning on lowering the front more than stock height, I don't think you are going to be able to lower the rear much (only about an inch) if you want a raked appearance.

Hm, after looking under my truck I have 2in or so block and then another block on top which I have heard to be called the leveling block. What do you think is the best way to bring the back down about 1in higher than the front. I have about a 6in rake now

-Keep in mind I'm parked on a pretty good upwards slope. I did some measuring and would like to come down 4 inches or so in the rear.

Depending on where i parked my leveling kit didnt always look level so i just got some new blocks and u bolts. Lowered it about 2 1/4 i think. If you know anybody that has a lift on their truck or a 4x4 shop then see if they have any blocks left over thats where i got mine

Then I will just need to get like a 2in aluminum block and ubolts and I should be good? Or are there any other opinions?

i just bought 2 1/2 blocks from top gun customs. They are made from solid steel and look very beefy. 3" wide too.

This is my problem too... I want to take the overload out to soften the ride a bit. But that wont do much for lowering. Ive seen the Top Gun pieces on ebay, they look plenty stout. Was thinking if I went that route then maybe I could weld a bracket on it for a traction bar mount also...?
