mach 5 guys, quick question

How many holes do they have? Size? Any markings? Thanks.

IIRC all machs have 8 holes. no real way to tell that ive noticed from the last two sets.

just hope the person your buying from is telling the truth.

Here is what I've been told. The Mach 5 have a sac nozzle and are 7 holes. A sac nozzle has a small ball on the end of the tip where the holes are instead of a point like a seat nozzle (stock). I'm meeting the guy either this evening or tomorrow & I just want to be sure, not that I can't trust him...just making sure.

maybe be they are 7, i thought stock was 7. but they do have a lil ball on the end, like your speaking of.

The M5's have 7 holes and yes they are a Sac style nozzle.

Got the injectors today. The tips are wierd looking, have a ball type tip like you guys explained. Can't wait till my truck gets home, gotta try them.

I have another question. The guy I bought these from gave me connector tubes with them. I asked why they were included & he said they must be installed with the injectors as a set. Maybe bigger tubes?

From what I've heard bigger tubes lose power with f-1 injectors. $.02

I'm not sure these are bigger tubes, he just told me they need to be run with the M5's? How can I tell if these tubes are bigger?

Look in the back of the tube and see if they have the filter in them. If they don't they are bigger and you should be able to see clean through them. Pretty sure on this but I could be wrong, I run my stock tubes with mach 6+'s.

Does your truck run hot with those 6's?

Not at all man. With the box on a lower setting, like PL1-3 I can fly through town and egt's stay around 1000. Cruising I see around 700-800 or less, depends on how much road rage I have haha. Turn the box off and WOT sits around 1200-1250. If I crank up the Adrenaline and start playin I can peg 1600, but I don't have the water hooked up at the moment, I will see if I can get it hooked up and report back. You will love the machs for sure, at least I love mine.

On my 02, with Mach 6+'s (that have ~90K miles on them) I hit about 1350 at the end of the 1/4 mile with everything turned up on a 100 degree day. Towing 9500lbs with the box off, it will peak about 1150. If I lug it while towing the EGT's will climb.

That's with the 62/14 over S400 twins.

I'm gonna throw the 5's in this weekend & see what it runs like. I may try to throw the Redline in too. I just picked my truck up from the shop today, this new 3600 clutch got 200 miles on it today, about ready to throw some heat at it. LOL
