Who said that you need a machine shop to drill and tap the block for 14mm studs ! Look that !

But yes a mag drill does a nice job too.
 
Kinda thought thats what they where , but there was'nt enough of the pic to see.
 
15 stages, 2 turbine stages and 10600 lbs of trust, no afterburner. Not bad for a 1960 design !

And no, already have 12mm head studs but I wonder if I should do it ?

Man, I wish I could afford one of those mag drills. SWEET. And I never thought to use a drill press to hold a tap straight and use a wrench to turn it. Great idea. Thanks! :D

Yea I first glanced at the pics and was thinking that is great, but how are you gonna tap it straight? Then I looked at them closer. Cool!
