Mack, fuel issues.

I got a 1980 dm with a 300 in it. Its lost most of its power. Were doin the basics filters and checking lines. How much fuel pressure should it get from the mechanical pump? How does the puff limiter work, like to ajust it or check to see if its not working? Its a dog, it will lug down but no smoke egts climb faster than before, didnt find any air leaks. Any input welcom.

no smoke and high egts ..doesn't sound right..especially with no boost leaks..is the turbo dusted?..from dirt?

The turbo looks great. I was told it should make 22-29 psi boost, its only making 18. It peaks at 18 and falls back to 15. I got a guy thats gonna do a proper pressure test on it.
