MAF sensor question

Where are you puttin this for the guys that arent running a torque tube? I was kinda thinking about drilling a hole in the end of the air filter and putting it there.. any ideas?

Some of you guys must have done something with this? What about you guys that put twins on,, where do they put it?
 
ANywhere in the intake tract. MIne is right after the air filter.
 
What happens if you don't have it? What does the computer use it for?
 
Im not 100% sure of that either... I am pretty sure that the computer adjusts fuel to match the incoming air to some degree,,, not to sure how much it matters after that,, maybe someone more knowledgable will chime in
 
on my truck i didnt even run an intake just zip tie so it dont move all over and the truck ran great.
