Mag pan install - Question ?

Question ? Installing a mag rear end cover today , how much fluid will I need in total and what oil are you guys using and do you have to use the additive ?
thanks for the space.Also anyone every use motor cote I think that's what they call it , you see it at all the big truck stops .

Mag Hytech's website says 7 quarts for the 11.5" AA cover. No additive in the AA axles.

IF that's the one you have.

Looks like yours is probably the 10.5" AA actually, and it says 6 quarts.

NO your right the first time, not for my 04 , installing on a 2011 3500

trying to find what everyone use's for oil ? brand & thickness .

In my 6.7 2500 with the mag pan I used 8 quarts of royal purple 75W-140
