Any opinions on forged steel pistons vs coated aluminum pistons for daily driving and some towing? Are the monotherms worth dropping the coin on for anything other than racing? Also are the steel pistons going to be wear harder on the cylinders?

TIA

If all your doing is dd and towing, you don't need monotherms.
For the cost of them you would be better off spending your
money on upgrading your turbo. it would lower heat so you
could keep stock pistons. What yr truck.

You shouldnt need Monotherms unless your expecting to get it very warm or put a fair amount of horsepower down

Ive been warned against the monotherms, as they tend to oval the cylinder walls.
