I hope someone can chime in and answer a question for me. I'll be pulling in the 2.6" class around Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and in previous years you couldn't run manifold adapters. They had to be a direct bolt up. All the rules i've looked at and printed off have nothing in them about this, is this a oversight or a deffinate change since they went from the 2.5" to the 2.6" rule?

I don't want to go through the added expense of having the new header from Greg Houge cut and welded for a correct flange and external wastegate flange if i dont have to. I can get a adapter from Brady at Industrial Injection that is a T3 - T4 and a W/G flange built into one piece.

Any suggestions??

This is one of the most out dated rules in pulling. The rule was meant to keep stockish size turbos on dodges. When the Fords and Chevy's started to get aftermarket turbos this rule should have went away. Ever see a Ford or Chevy with an aftermarket turbo with out an adapter plate?

cant even put a turbo on a ford or chevy really without a aftermarket pedestal......
