Manual tc lock switch

I had a copilot in my truck for a month or two and am now deciding to sell it and putting my manual lock back in for pulling. The problem im having is that the tc will on lock when the trans is in drive, and i pull in 2nd. How can i lock it up in 2nd through a switch?

It will lock it in thru every gear when you flip it on

Mine doesn't though... It locks in every gear in drive when it shifts through the gears but itself, otherwise it does not lock when i have it second of first.

How is your switched wired? Mine will lock in first if I want to.

I have my orange and black tcc wired into a ground switch.

Your problem is in the VB.

Thats what i was afraid of.... Do you think its because of not flowing enough or inproper installation.

Yeah mine wouldn't lock. I put a different valve body in

from phone

Nothing is wrong with it. It just needs to be built to lock that way.

It could be simple as removing the VB and turning a screw, but I'm not sure.

My valve body is a transgo valve body essentially a stock body drilled out...

have you tried just putting it in second on your column thats how i have to lock mine if i lock it in drive it will shift straight to 3rd and lock so i have to manually shift it if i want to lock it up through the gears..

Maybe i missed something, but do you have the relay jump wire in the fuse panel?

Yea I do have a jumper in the relay.... and yea thats what i'm talking about, if i put it in second on the column, the tc wont lock.

The valvebody will have to be modified for it to lock in manual 2nd.

Has anyone here ever modified their valvebody themselves here? I know it can be done but i don't know exactly what needs to be drilled or how much to go.
