Map sensor voltage low

what exactly does the map senor do? And would it hurt if i drove the truck around for a week or so, before i can get a new Map Senor. Thanks:bang :bang

Manifold Air Pressure sensor, it shouldn't hurt anything per se, but you won't like the mileage most likely :bang

You can always unplug it

If there is somthing wrong with the wiring harness of the comp would that have anything to do with it?

I put on a new sensor a week ago and so far so good
