well sometime last year i replaced my map sensor didnt get any codes the truck was lets say surging was told this would fix it, well it did now this year got a code its the freaking map sensor i think it said voltage to low to map sensor. Guy at the part store said he should be able to find the recipte has anyone else ever had to replace theirs at all much less two in the same year

No it's shouldn't be too low I would check the connections and maybe clean them, clear the code and hook it back up! It could be a glitch

It could be a bad MAP sensor. I had the same problem a couple of years ago when I added a programer. Replaced it again and no problems since.

I went through several in a row. 3 or 4, I can't remember.

I had the same problem with my 99 after 3 new sensors from cummins with the same thing i unpluged the comp harness it ran fine and it never threw the code again
