I posted this in another thread, but I wasn't sure how many people would see it there so I thought I would just make another thread. enjoy

July 11th at Marengo will be a KOTTPA Sanction pull. Will have both 2.5 Street diesel and Super Street 3.0" single charger / 2.8" bottom charger twins.

Bushings allowed on 3.0" single charger trucks only. 2.5 street and 2.8 twins trucks are no bushings.

2.5 street diesels will be 3rd class and Super Street will be last class I think. Street class is 100% payback and Super Street is 1st $300, 2nd $150, 3rd $75, 4th $65, 5th $50. Must be 5 or more trucks in Super Street class for full payout or only second and third place money is issued.

BRING YOUR HELMENTS FOR BOTH CLASSES OR TECH OFFICIALS WILL NOT LET YOU PULL. Turbo's will be checked before pull starts so get there early and get registered. Turbo's may also be checked agian for the top 3 trucks in both classes.

Also I am sure most of you will only be pulling with KOTTPA just this one time, so only $50 of the membership dues will have to be paid, plus the $20 hook fee. If you deside to pull with KOTTPA at one of our other events, the remainder of the membership of $75 will have to be paid at the next event you attend with KOTTPA.

Our diesel classes are struggling quite a bit this year, so we need as much help as we can get at the next pulls we have so that they will keep both classes for next year.

Good to hear. Anyone else going to come out? I'll be pulling both classes cuzz I figured there won't be too many in the SS class, and I know most would like full payout.
 
Which class? would be nice to get atleast 10 per class atleast, but I don't see it happening, unless you guys can prove me wrong.
 
yes KOTTPA has all Classes at every pull. Though there probably will not be as many in the other classes as there usually is since most of them are from around my area. So I am asking for all diesel trucks to come and pull in the sanction classes to take up the slack and so that maybe KOTTPA will continue to keep both diesel classes for next year. It would be great if we could get a few shied or haisley trucks in the super street to put on a good show. I my self will just be pulling the Diesel. Our gasser doesn't have a motor right now.
 
hopefully there will be a good turnout, even though it's gonna cost 70 dollars for a non member to pull, ouch.
 
I know its a high price. I talked to some of the other members too see about getting it cheaper for a one time pull, but they say it can't be done. Then they ask where is all the diesel at. Kinda a DUH question when its a percentage payback in the street class and all the SS trucks are at another pull with a bigger payout. I am working on another Idea for next year if they keep the classes. I am hoping they will agree to it. Basically have any member that has payed thier dues in full just pay the $20 hook fee as normal, but any non members pay just $30 to pull, maximum 3 or 4 events for that truck and driver to just pay the $30 non member hook fee. Any more events they attend, they have to pay the membership. As for the nonmembers at each event, they will have to sign a waver for the insurance basically pulling at thier own risk. Also having the payout the same as the SS class this year, and raising the payout for the SS next year to maybe $500 or so for 1st place. But I can't mae any promisses. This is just an Idea I am shooting out there for them to help our classes.

I really appreciate you guys for coming. This will be a very big help for our orginization. Hopefully this pull will be a pretty big success. As long as there are quite a few more trucks here and everything goes smooth and quick durring our classes (been to a few where things get dragged on and techs get pissy) then it should open the eyes of the other board members. Again big thanks in advance to those that come to pull!!!
 
I sure do hope someone got video of the super street class, heard it was a great show.
 
Yes it was. I guess you could say I was the big underdog of that class, lol. The WFO crew made the night. Rat 03 should have a youtube up for it tomorrow.

Was a better night for KOTTPA in the diesel classes. 4 in street and 5 in super street.

I made a mistake in the previous posts. I thought I was told that as long as 5 or more trucks we in the SS class then we would get full payout. I didn't know untill the pull was over that there actually needs to be 6 or more in the class. I am terribly sorry for the mix up. Hopefully I can get that elliminated for next year as well.

Anyways, again big big thanks to the WFO crew, Skidmann and all the others that came out to pull!!! This was the biggest turnout for diesel trucks combined for kottpa. I am going to try my best to get the $30 non member fee to go through for next season adn maybe we might even be able to get it started this season to see how it will all work out.
