I am look for some feed back from people that have install gregs 2.5++. how as it affect your spool up and egts.

I ran a Maxspool 2.5. A very nice cam and Greg was great to deal with. I also ran the H2 and it too was a good cam. I can only say good about both.
 
We have a 12v with the 2.5++ in it and it helped spool up quite a bit. We really noticed it when we put the twins on it.
 
I am running one of Greg's 2.5++ cams... though I only have about 300-350 miles on the engine since install, so I can't say much yet. I also did a p-pump swap and went from an HX40 to a s400, so nothing to compare it too really. Also don't have a pyrometer yet since mine was stolen.

With all that, it spools fast... as fast as the 40 did before, I'd like to think the cam is helping some. LOL
 
nice cam,spool up was better and egts dropped 150-200 on the 2.5
 
I havnt got it installed yet but i have one of gregs 3.0 grind cam for my Cr but im changing every thing so i wont have a way to campare to the set up i was running.

Actually yes... I have the probe up to the two eyelets that connect to the eyelets on the pryro wires. They cut the wires right at the pillar:doh:

They took the whole A pillare mount... 100 psi boost guage, pyro, 2 guage pod and my head unit. Cut the wires to the XM satellite reciever but left it on the seat.

And if you knew my neighborhood, it was probably a white trash methhead.
 
Its a drop in... but you have to make sure its degreed in just right.
 
I got my cam out, still looks brand new, still has the grinding marks on all the lobes.
