Measurement of cam to cam gear

I never measured the cam to see how much was sticking out before i pressed the gear off before. And when i pressed the gear on before i pressed it on a little to far. Does anyone know how much of the cam should be sticking out?

I just got thru doing this. Press the gear on until it hits the shoulder or won't go on any further. Mine sticks out .105"
I just went out and measured it.

I guess mines closes enough it was 104. At first when i looked at it, it looked like it was on to much by looking at the crank. But when u pulled the cam outwards against the trust it looked good. The calipers was probley off that much because i think it went as far as it would go by how the cam bold. lol Thanks
