Does anyone know what pin 5 at the inj pump see for voltage??? I noticed while using a scanner on my truck that the fuel shutoff is going on and off. Is this normal.
Also it says that the fuel shut off is controled from the ecm. the pin 33 on ecm goes straight to the inj pump pin 5 light blue wire with red tracer. The wiring diagram says at the ecm (knock sensor return) What is that????
The scanner also said that this wire controlles the metering valveFuel shutoff signal is from the ecm to inj. pump control module. The signal tells the inj. pump module to turn on or off the metering control valve insde the vp44 inj pump.
Signal comes from ecm connector pin 33 and goes to the injection pump control module pin 5.
From pin 33 to pin 5 on inj pump should it see a steady 12volts or is this a signal wire???? Can i cut the wire lightblue red tracer and run a 12volt source to it and see if this fixes my problem????
Anyone understand this?????
