Show-Me Smokers will have a points pull at Mexico. We will be the first ones pulling, so be there in time to be teched and ready to pull by 6:30.

Directions:
If you are coming from the East, West, or South take I-70 to Kingdom City (I-70 exit 148) then head north on HWY 54. Take the first Mexico exit and as soon as you get off the over pass there is a blacktop that heads to the West, this is HWY D or Vance Road. (the road is within about 20ft of the on ramp to get back on 54 and head South if you reach the Wal-mart or John Deere dealer driveways you have gone to far). You will go down HWY D (Vance Road) about a mile, the fairgrounds are on the north side of the road just past the rail road tracks.

If time will permit, we will have a open street truck class (single or twins - no drugs) at the end of the pull. Again TIME PERMITTING. If the pull goes late, we will not have it.

Also, ITPA will be there with a hot 3.0 diesel class, so there will be plenty of good pulls to watch!

Any results on the Mexico,Mo. pull? I think it was the first pull for the 3.0 ITPA guys.

No results here but Smokin tells me there were some pretty awesome trucks!

I do not have results on the 3.0 classes, but I do know Justin took first.

The Show-Me Smokers had a decent turn out, but unfortunately, about half the class showed up expecting to pull later in the evening instead of first. There were 7 truck in the 2.6 class, then later on it became obvious there were alot of guys wanting to hook street trucks that did not make the 2.6 class, so We ran a "open" class through last thing with 8 trucks in it.

Congrats to:
first place 306.37- Kevin Glover with Northeast Diesel Service
second place 285.105 - Dane Pogrelis
third place 269.36 - Ross Becker
fourth - 268.84 - Scott Guse
fifth - 262.91 Jared Fritzemeyer
sixth - 258 .61 Brad Gant
seventh - 245.77 Andy Petree

Open:
1st - Jared Fritzemeyer 262.12
2nd - Steve Langford 259.86
3rd - Kenneth Fehling 246.85
4th - Jared Galloway 234.4
5th - Andy Petree 232.79

Destroked only had 3 wheel drive the left hub gear was taken out for transport soo you can stear it with the spool. We did't know it was out taken.Just one of the million ? we didn't ask Rod.Motor ran good.We were 700lb light that was with the 800lb chunk of steel that we had mounted on the truck already We went back and put 300lb in the bed that all the extra weight we bought so we ended up pulling with 3 wheel drive and 400lb light=7600lb.the motor ended up turning 5780rpm going down the track left the line at 5200rpm.ran out of power stearing fluid hose blowen after I left the line dam hard to stear with pulling hard to the left with a bad left schoulder yet.

Motor sounded good Dale, hated to see it in 3 wheel drive. Ours had a miss going on, not quite sure why yet, hopfully it'll run better next time.

To bad nobody gave Black Crow a butt kickin! Cause Im wanting to see it. Sick of seeing that thing win.

I guess they have put together a pretty good truck, huh? Maybe when they put a real 3.0 turbo on it instead of the little one it might run better!

You MUST give Black Crow credit even if you hate them. Them guys had a few issues with the truck to get it ready and whatever the did it worked. They played buy the book and all the rules. It WILL be the truck to beat in the 3.0 class.:clap:

I am at there shop alot, you wouldn't believe the amount of time and work that has went into that truck. Alot of the parts are one off hand made by them. If you get a chance just have a close look at the truck some time.
I have to agree with 01PPUMP, give credit where credit is due!

I kinda stayed out to late at the tiki bar. You know I'm getting to old to do those kinda things. Congrats on the win!

Black Crow truck is bad to the bone. Not bashing it at all. Nice to see him pull against people he should be pulling against. No secret the truck is bad a$$! Ive just never seen it pull in MMTTPA and it has no competition at all there. My buddy is still waiting on his pump from harts so he can get out there. Black Crow I believe you talk to him often. Think he just got his air/water intercooler through you. But anyhow. Congrats on the win.

Come on SmokinCummins get that gear to ole 2Tone, I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting to see that thing drag that sled all over the place!!:cheer::hump:

Ya hope it stays together! No idea what to expect out of it. Should be ok for a 2.6 truck.

We have a vidio of all the trucks I'll get the placing for the CMPA /ITPA from Jeff Strothkamp.I'll post vidio as soon as we figure it out.

4 wd would have mada differance and being 8000lb
Justin [Blackcrow]is defintly the man to shoot fordam good running truck. The frame was flexing alot when it was bouncing about the first 100ft.didn't hurt him much though.
Clad to meet most of you up there.
