Miss at idle

After getting some new injectors put in and everthing lined out for about 2 weeks now my truck is missing at an idle. However the miss is random and does not happen all the time. Sometimes it can be worse than others. It "seems" that it likes to happen more often after being run hard or after a long drive. The truck always had what I would call a lope or slight miss at idle off and on since i have had it. After putting new injectors in it fixed it and the white smoke and haze I was having. Well now its back and worse minus the haze and white smoke.
I was thinking possibly a lift pump or ofv taking a crap but I was wonderin what you guys thought.

Unfortunately it sounds like a plunger issue.

Dont say that!
The truck has 298k on it so im not suprised... The overflow valve has never been changed. Is it a possibiltiy its something as simple as what im hoping for?

Try the cheap/easy things first, overflow valve and lift pump. I never like to say never, you may get lucky.

It sounds like your pretty certain though. Im just hopin and doesnt look like its gonna fix anything..
