Mods:
64/s480
hamilton big stick cam, springs and push rods
75% extrude honed nozzles
stage 3 cp3(wish I could do duals but money is running out)
fluidamper
625 studs
200gph fuel pump

The motor is striped right now- the head is off to get fire ringed. Am I missing anything else?????

I'm also thinking a bigger intercooler???? (any suggestions on a cooler)
Also thinking of the wilson 'thrasher' intake manifold.
AND WATER INJECTION!

Any thing else you suggest? .......

Thanks (to those who have already helped)

Save your money on the Wilson. There are fabbed versions out there long before this came to surface.

What no porting? bowl work? gasket matched manifold? :rockwoot:

Forget the thrasher ! if you can wait a little longer, another company is coming out with a sweet intake soon. If money wasn't and issue, Toolman on here is making some really nice ZZ type intakes but, better.

oversized seats in the head

some quality boots and clamps

rail cap

I like my Spearco IC. Lots of guys are using their stock cooler though till they blow.

You could get some ARP rocker studs.... not necessary though

You could do a ...Modded rail

a few thoughts to help spend what little you might have left

Thanks guys-
I know the wilson isnt "great" - but i do like the little 'bling' factor to complement the turbos..... the turbos r polished and piping is silver. What else do you suggest for a intake horn?

I was thinking of the zz/ port polished head but I have to draw the line. haha

A modded rail would be easy to do now with everything apart.... Ty- how much is it?

I could cap the rail...... but not planning on running ANY ADDED PRESSURE.

you were suppose to click the link :-) The prices are on the front page of Todd's site.

Like I said about the intake, I can't say who it is yet but, know he's made some very nice things before and if you can wait a little while.... you'd probably like it.

Sorry Ty- didnt scrool to right side. ;)
HOW long of a wait? I havent driven my baby in over a month!!!!!

he may already have a few ready to go. You just need to give him yours as a core.

No Ty-- How long of a wait till the ''intake '' comes out!!!:Cheer:

I know there was some resent personal hold ups but, as soon as he can get them done he will. I'd say at least 2 to 3 weeks but, that's only a guess. You could always go with something else or just put it back to stock until you see this new intake.

So who's intercooler?

I'm also thinking about turbo and manifold blankets- help spool and keep heat out.

I would run A HTT intercooler if I was going to run an aftermarket.

I put a turbo blanket on last night, not sure on spool up time cause I installed a larger housing at the same time. But I can tell you after the 15min drive home from the shop and running it kind of hard I could put my hand on the blanket which covers the exhaust housing.

Check out Joe Hellmann, he makes some very very nice intercoolers, he also makes very nice intake horns and a billet intake plenum.

Hellman does make some very nice stuff.

Glad you didnt say missing a maxspool cam ZACH!!!!:hehe::hehe::hehe:

Thinking of going with a Spearco ic- my other one has been good to me.

JUST asking..... anyone use a Banks ic?

Forget the intercooler, and spend the money towards dual cp3's.. Is your intercooler plastic, or metal?

ordered a Floor It stage 3 cp3 today--- hopefully will have it next week!!!!

A stage 4 pump from John and also Shane are supposed to be coming out shortly as well.

I will go duals later if need be--- would like to see how the drivability/ hp is with the single - and then if later/ or need be, see how things change with duals
