missing or skipping

On my 99 at wot, it sounds like it is missing or skipping. It kind of sounds like it is beating off the rev limiter but it does it from 1000 rpm and up. When my edge is on it barely does. Any idea what it might be?

could be a wide variety of things. Most likely a fuel injection system issue, also could just need a valve lash adjustment.
Check all the simple stuff (lash adjustment, fuel pressure, change fuel filter, make sure it isn't sucking air in the fuel system. disconnect the edge from your harness, check and clean ALL your grounds)
From there, if there's no codes you can get your injectors tested for proper pop off pressure and spray pattern.

mine did same thing it was the injectors it was worse with edge box off than with it on.

I just checked the valves a couple of weeks ago. I am also only getting about 30lbs of boost.

mine did same thing it was the injectors it was worse with edge box off than with it on.

I guess i'll send them off to get checked, cause mine is worse with the edge on also.
