only 53,000. checked the fluid the other day and there was metal shavings on the magnet (normal amount) so i figured i would change it out to get all the metal out
It has a friction modifier package in it, so unless you experience any grabbing, binding, noise etc. from your limited slip differential it is not needed.
The factory Ford stuff is full synthetic also. 75w140 goes in the 10.5 axles. A Dually Dana 80 gets the 75w90. Friction modifier goes in anything limited slip if the oil doesn't already contain it. The best modifier is the Ford Motorsport stuff. It smells like Sex Panther from Odeon. Second to that is the GM friction stuff.
