this turbo started out its life as a 64/71 t-3 S-300

14cm ex housing (req 4" hx-40 style dp)

ex housing has been ported and polished

req htt's large t-3 gasket (incl)

will improve spool and increase max boost

esp if you have your ex manifold ported to the same dim

incl 1/2" thick machined waste gate cover from industrial

allows max gate travel and elim poss of warping

and BD's anti-surge .70 compressor housing which has been opened up for a 64 wheel

and epoxied and radiused (flows like a race cover)

boost fooler

aftermarket stainless fasteners

no front to rear play

proper side to side for the 64 wheel

no cracked housings

no gate problems assoc with the ss ex housing

awesome turbo ♥

run it as a med large single or top turbo for race twins

works better than any t-3 64/71 that ever came over a shelf

1200+ cfm

60+ psi

this was my favorite big single ♥ i have a lot of time and money in it ♫ goin to 62/75 twins

So even if someone were to put it on their truck and spray the hell out of it you would take care of it regardless of what happens? Even if it meant buying them a completely new charger?

you could blow it up with #2 as well

i put a lifetime guarantee on all my race motors too

only way to void it is to start the engine

what kind of power do you think this turbo is capable of? right now i am running an htb2 62-12 and pushing it pretty hard. but i cant make my mind up on whether i want to just build the turbo i have into twins or run something similar to this. I dont want to lose to much spoolup as it is mainly a street truck and it is a blast to drive with almost instant boost, however it chokes for air on the top end.
 
everything is a trade off

some say no such thing as a good big single

others say screw the twins - want nothin to do with them - give me a big single any day

if your truck has a auto trans i can not see you complaining about spool with a 64/71

if its a stick like mine you may want to consider twins

ps - it wont be chokin with this charger

not unless you got lots n lots of fuel

what power level are you shooting for?
 
maybe if it has a stainless housing with one of ron allens arms in it but if not i really am not that interested in trading

i have a lot of time in this one
 
I am shooting for 600-650hp range. which i have already made 597 with the little 62-12 but i am tired of pushing the crap out of it, but i love it on the street which is where it spends most of its life (other than the garage hahaha).
