the new pumps don't lope at idle anymore.....a guy here near me just received a Monster pump and mike figured out how to stop the lope,.....from what i here this was the first pump he sold that idles like a SO pump

Mine sounds like a s.o pump when i'm in gear but in neutral or park or while coasting it sounds like a harley davidson gone diesel.

stock lines on a monster pump will idle as smoothe and quiet as a stock pump truck.

I am using stock lines and tubes.....it dosent sound close to stock until its in gear...

Its recomended but Im still using my stock ones. I thought about drillin out the tubes but that seems pointless w.o the .093 lines. I can get a set of them for a good price from someone used but money's a little tight rite now.

Thanks Matt!!! Its just a simple piece bent and welded to clean that mess up! It was just something my fabricator and I kicked around and he had some scrap so we made it work.

Does that lay over the stock fan shroud? or does it replace it? PM me with some detail, I'd like to run something similar on my truck.

oh no, you will see a big difference, look at the stock ones with those check valve looking things on them, then look at a .093 tube, huge difference, and it will make a large difference in how it runs!!!:rockwoot:

Do you run them? I've read alot of arguments about them making and not making any difference. I see ppl doin it just so it makes more of a lope in the idle and havnt heard any real gains from them. If they really do then i can make it a priority, But it just seems like an unnecessary purchase.

i dont have the monster pump like you do i just have the scheid but with that in mind it made a big difference in my truck, my guess would be 50-75 hp!!:rockwoot:

i went from stock to .093 cross over tubes in my truck with a HRVP44... 8hp/25tq dyno proven back to back runs and it still sounds the same.

they are a "wringing out the last few hp" mod IMO.
