More head stud ?s

Im sure this has been asked before, but when installing head studs is swapping studs with the bolts a good idea or should you pull the head and replace the head gasket then install the studs?

are you really gaining anything by just replaceing the bolts with studs(no gasket)?

Yeah, swap the studs if you have a good seal, the 625's for example clamp WAY harder!

If your seal is already compromised then you need change the gasket first of course.

I just backed off a set of 625's after I fragged my rods, and your tired after, then a few mins later, backed a set of stock bolts off the doner engine and WOW no comparison they just seem lame.....
