Anyone know which year trans/motors can be easily swapped into which year 2500s? Got 220k on my 01 RAM HO with 6spd but have had thoughts that I would someday like to put like an 06 motor and trans in my truck if my motor ever fails...not looking like it ever will but always keeping an eye out for a really good deal.

It's doable, but would be some work since it's a whole nother ball of wax with the electronics on the 06 vs the 01. A 12V would be a lot easier, or just P pump what you have.
