Just wanted to chime on in having used my new Tork Tek valve spring compressor. The tool worked flawlessly and is far superior to the KD Tools 3271 compressor it replaced which broke on me. The price was right in line with the KD Tools piece. In any event just figured I would give a  for a well thought out tool which made this job much easier and faster! Good job Tork Tek:rockwoot:

Nice looking tool for sure! The concept is perfect but I see two areas that could use improvement.

I have one of these sitting in the tool box, have yet to have to use it but I am sure that when I get to use it the money spent will be well worth it.

For the price i wouldnt bother its not a arm and a leg.
I will vouch it works awesome i bough one and did mine.:clap::clap:

I work in a machine shop. I figure I will build one or two when I'm getting paid overtime on the weekend. And invest the money I saved in beer.

Eh, they're alright..... Besides spinning on top of the retainers, and that cheap ass nut they give you with it. The threads pulled straight out of the nut on my THIRD cylinder.. That pissed me off. When ya pay that much you'd at least expect a $.75 Hardened nut instead of that two penny thing they give you. Had to stop in the middle of the job, rush to the hardware store to get a new bolt and nut for the thing. Other than that, it works pretty good.

Did you oil the bolt and nut assembly multiple times as you're supposed to? Did something get into the threads?

I tend to agree. If you are a machinist by trade that is one thing but for me to fab one up in this heat with my limited fab skills I felt the $45 was well spent.

#1 area where the valve keepers fit is too small which leads to #2 the whole thing needs a redesign job. Pretty simple, figure it out.

I'm not following. My beehive springs use enormous ten degree keepers which are much MUCH larger than the factory keepers and I had more than enough room to get them down and around the valve stem. Farther the circular angle cut guides the keeprs into position making it that much easier.

i have one also works great other then it likes to spin on the retainer when you compress the spring but no biggie for the price

Yeah, you do have to keep track of the top pieces position on the retainer but for $45? How about mashing it down by hand and trying to fit the keepers in with the other ala the KD Tools piece:bang
