Anyone like these?, or made good HP with them on a diesel? seems everyone around here is pushing for the dyno jet, why? Whats the diff. Thanks

the dyno jet 284c is bigger, has heavier drum if im not mistaken and that puts a better load on our trucks as to where a mustang dyno has a much smaller drum weighing less, not putting a load a heavy diesel truck as well, if that makes any sense. im not 100% on this but thats probably close to why everyone prefers the dyno jet.

Most Mustang's have eddy current loaded drums, and will do a nice job of loading your truck. A friend dynoed on both with a fuel only 12v 808hp on the Mustang and 793hp on a 248C, Id say that's close enough considering air temp could have had that effect on the hp.

i dont know the technical differences between the two but i've personally witnessed doing 544 on a mustang dyno not changing a thing and putting down 652 on a dyno jet

A mustang dyno will usualy throw lower HP #'s up to 30% lower than a dynojet.

On a mustang dyno I had a turbo 4cyl make 330 RWHP next day on a dynojet 363RWHP.
