OK so here we go I have my 01 qcsb I have 3.55 gears a silver bullet 66 edge comp airdog 100 pdi manifold banks intake horn (I didn't buy was on the truck). Triple disk convertor and billet input alone with other stuff in there. So I want to keep this truck as my sports car haha fun for the street and good at the pulls might see the track someday. Now I'm a poor man so I do everything myself. So I just got my donor 12 v for 1000 bucks :D. Now the pump swap will happen. I also have another pump that o was gonna send to Farrel to have a 13mm done I have another head getting ported so on and a billet intake manifold made for. I might have some billet stuff made for he swap as well. Now I'm gonna part out the rest of that truck and sell everything off the 01 I was thinking about doing a twin set up with a 66 and 480 just because maybe the wrong choice you guys tell me now what I would like some thoughts on are things like cam. Fuel system was gonna do stainless line with areo pump. Also the donor has 4.10 gears should they go into mine? I'll try to get some pics up or both and some small work I've done so far. Thanks and look forward to suggestions for keeping the cost down as I'm sure I'm not the only one. Haha

The donor

If any of my ideas are poor or ideas that could be better please give me ideas as it says green behind the ears

So as i continue to plan and the last pull i wanted to attend was last night I will be gettting ready to start the work on the truck. now as I would like to go right to the 13mm finance may not allow so Ill have seth go thru the one on the running engine. Im trying to decide on the cam to run. simply a 188/220 or something else and also. Also to you think i should stay with the 66 i have now or go to something else for a single? Finally whos found the best deal on lockers?

As I continue to read and learn I want some input I a green man as far as making power right so I'm wondering if I should stay 12mm pump just seeing drivability seems to suffer from some people with 13mm now I'd like more power sooner should I get rid of the 66 and do a 64 twins setup or something different also can is a question I have what can I have no idea thanks to anyone that replies I have to donor engine home and gonna strip it shortly to get things ready

I haven't read everything in this thread, but here are my suggestions. Stay 12mm with the pump and downsize your twins a little, so it's street friendly. Look at Will's budget build on here. He's made tons of power with smaller turbos and less pump.

I agree with diesel importer here, downsize to like a 62-64/480 setup and maxed out 12mm.

OK thank you talking to Seth seems like my 800 HP goal is more steered to a 13mm. But I do have much to think about the turbo setup mentioned is what I was thinking would box turbos work fine?

So I got the pump sent out yo Seth I'm looking at how I'm gonna do my a1000 setup. I'm wondering in running a regulator before the pump can I do away with the stock overflow setup

Absolutely not. You have to run the regulator after the injection pump

Remove the OFV and use a banjo fitting then run a regulator on the return.

Well hopefully the truck will.come in the garage before next weekend and I can start taking things apart I'll have parts coming up for sale if anyone is inyerested . but I noticed today that my engine is seeping oil not leaking heavily just collecting around #1 exhuast port I'm settling on the guides and seals which will be address with the new head. I'm going to check my crankshaft end play before I start tearing into it is there anything else I should check before I tear it down because at the time I don't plan on touching the bottom end this year unless I find something. So any how do you think this oil leak is as I think or rings or something else. I'll try to get a pic up this afternoon.
