Well I've never hooked to a sled in a truck before till this weekend. I was very happy with how I did. I went 275ft in the street stock class and ended up 5th in my heat. I came off the line @ 3300 rpm in 3rd low and rode the gov down the track till the last 25 ft of the pull, I only have 3k's in the pump now but will be upgradeing to 4k's sometime this week. also the truck only weighed 6300lbs with me in it and I only had 400lbs in the bed so I was a little on the light side.

I would like to thank 06 DIESEL for the video and getblown5.9 for all his help,letting me borrow his spare tires, and the extra weights he had.

good job dave...get the springs in and it would be a runner even with that stock turbo for now. wanna come run with us again next week?

I would love to but at the drivers meeting they said if you pull the street class you can't move up to the mod class till the next powerfest event.
 
I guess they said that specifically to keep the stock trucks from showing up next week and having 50 trucks in the class. You can come watch still.

That was a heck of a first pull!! :rockwoot: I take it you have 4:10's? If you do you can definitely run 2nd high.. Here's a vid of mt '94 with 33x12.50's in 4th low. I took 5th as well. I pulled 290 that night....

not sure but I think I have 3.73's? @ 60 mph I turn 1800 rpm in 5th. we have the same size tire and I'm pretty sure I was sitting next to you and your crew in the stands was nice talkin to you guys.

I'm def comming to watch, love watchin the semi's pull as well should be a great event

no I did not, there was a thread round here somewhere ( course I can't find it now) that told you at 60 mph in 5th if you were turning 2000 rpm you had 4.10's and if you were round 1800 you had 3.73's or 3.55's can't remember which it was.
