My first pull...

Went to the local Anderson County Fair last Thursday, and decided to try my hand at pulling! They only had 2 classes, Stock and Outlaw. Since I had a bigger turbo, they put me in the Outlaw class with the pro guys who trailered their rigs in.

I loaded up the Smarty TNT/R tune on #9, tq 2, timing 2, rp 2, high rpm on.

I just have a SB 3250 DD so I launched as gently as I could. I brought it up to about 2,800 rpm to get moving, and dumped it as soon as the turbo started to spool good. I bogged slightly coming out of the hole, but was already on top of the turbo, so it lit and took off. It jumped to 4,000 or 4,100 rpm and stayed there the rest of the way down the track.

I launched in 4th low, and had 37" Toyo M/Ts. Once I got going, it felt like I could've been pulling in 5th to get a little more speed, but I don't think I have enough clutch to come out of the hole in 5th.

I unloaded the drivetrain too quick at the end, because the truck was still fueling, and rpm shot well past 4,500 rpm.

Give me some feedback on what I did wrong or right!

Mods are in signature. Settings were Smarty TNT/R 9, TST 2/0. The MP-8 is broken, so I had it unhooked. My air bags were blown too, so I was running just on the Carli springs and Bilsteins.

Not bad man. Looked for first pull. you know you are in now. time to really spend the money lol

You'll be addicted now. Mine does the same at the end of the track if I dont let off the fuel before pushing the clutch in. With a lil load on the truck when you're "spinning out/stopped" just let off the fuel a hair before pushing in the clutch.

Be carful with that G-56. That is your weakest link right now.

Good pull by the way.
