annow I want to do the bedsides.

I ran across a set of hanneman bedsides, I wanted for a buddyto buy them because hes trying to prerunner his ride out using hanneman stuff,
but I guess that funds are tight for him.

so now Im thinking of buying them for my self,
what do you guys think if I ran them instead

is it cool to match hanneman bedsides with glassworks fenders
or should I just do glassworks bedsides
I need something

the differences in bedsides are:
the glassworks have a 4.5 inch bulge
and the hannemans have a bigger 5 inch bulge and they come already modded for the gas cap

and I can still retain my rear bumper towhitch and underbed spare with either set

would anyone care if I ran the better looking glassworks fenders with the better looking haneman bedsides

or should I just pass on the hanneman deal and do some glassworks bedsides

they create bigger wheel well openngs much like a bushwacker cut outs.

this is going to allow me to lower the truck a few inches while at the same time I can still run my 38s or even 40's

Im gonna have to get some 20x12 inch rims with alot of backspacing but it will be worth the effort.

I will get some aerodynamics back,
Ill have a lower center of gravity, which helps with my driving habits.
my steering angles will be better
Ill have less body roll
women can get in and out of my truck much easier
and it looks real good to boot

I shouldve done fiberglass parts when first got the truck

eventually Im also gonna do a new frontaxle with custom 4 link and 14 inch coilovers and no u-bearings
for a smoother freeway ride,
Im kind of embarrased by how it rides now
Im cool with it, but others have complained

Its still gonna be a work truck, but now my line of work is changing and I need to be able to accomodate my clients.

when your meeting with engineers or architects and if they had a truck like this wouldnt you rather take this one rather than a prius or some other compact that most people drive to get out to the various jobsites.

thats why

I dont want a new truck
Ive already got a badass truck with no payments
I just want to make it better

Im gonna drive it till the wheels fall off

That's the hot setup right there. I think Glassworks molds the front end a LOT better, especially the area right behind the headlights. (It doesn't look like it had an allergic reaction to a bee sting.)

And the Hannemans with the fuel door already cut out makes it easier to install.

But man, glass fenders and sides take a LOT of time to line up properly! Good luck!

Do you think that there would be a weight savings going with the glass stuff?

Kevin

yeah probably but thats not why Im doing it

:hehe:

if you want to do a wieght certificate
strip it
pull off everything that doesnt help you go or stop
get your certificate
and then reassemble it
