I am getting ready to send my block to the machine shop then assemble it.
Would you add or change anything??

Mahle Motorsports Cast .020 Pistons
Custom Cam
Lbz Empire Max Effort Heads
Arp Head Studs

this is going in a 05 truck with a zf6

I would have went with forged pistons.

They should be fine for a season as long as you aren't too happy with the timing.
I'd be saving for some forged or maybe monotherms in the meantime.

We have forged Duramax pistons on the shelf if you need them. 15.5:1 and 16.5:1 both!

Why an LB7 crank?

didn't want to tear my lly down, and the lbz motor I had was in a fire, so didn't want to use the crank in a high HP application. Had a lb7 crank ready to go will be a LLY injs and OS
