What you got rigged up, I thinking about doing one like Cummins Express once I get this put together

My buddy had one from granger he only pulled the cable when he loaded it started to stick open because the gate was thin started bending from snapping shut.

He's posted it before, but I believe it's a Chalwyn valve. He sourced it out of LA. Look for the thread and you'll have the part numbers & everything.

Matt Lewis and I built the air shut off for my truck, its fairly simple, but it works. Here it is:

Pat Sanford can be reached at 504-615-7927 and our main branch for Chalwyn is in Broussard, La. There number is 337-837-9001, ask for Lauri Duhon.

The valve is a SVX valve, 3" in diameter for the intercooler to hat pipe.

I'll put one on each of my 12V trucks, no doubt I'll be able to shut it down.

Jim

P.S. This is out of E-mails from Pat

That is a Dame good looking shut-off. Wait and see what it will be put on. It is a jaw DROPPER

Ok so how do these shut off valves connect at the rear of the truck for the sled. I can almost fugure out the Chawlyn (trailer breakaway?) but how do the mechanical ones work?

So the valve has a release pin attached to a cable that goes to the back of the truck with a ring to attach the sled cable to? Sorry about all the questions, I haven't had the chance to look at one up close.
