You were done. That sled was biting at the end, If you wouldn't have clutched it, you would having buying drivetrain parts.

Kudos to the hitch checker!!

A 20" hitch would have been better there.

Watch the video, he was still rolling pretty good when he clutched it - he had a few feet to go. Maybe it would have broke, and maybe not. You never know until it snaps. I have seen small bounces break parts, and I have seen big enough bounces to bounce the front tires off the ground with no breakage. You never know until it snaps.

That track was a little bounce for some we held our own in the SSclass 5th.out of 8 not bad for a street/work/trailer totter we got got 3rd last year.
Gene you got to stop working sohard I almpst seen a drop of swet on that forhead.

Gene break a bead? Gene?!? No way! That was prolly spittle from a disgruntled wet-talking gasser. :D :D

Sledpuller i wasnt about done if i would have been done the weights would not have slammed the front of the bed and left a huge dent... Watch it again.I agree about the hitch checker they do a very good job.

Why did the weights move?
Answer: IMHO, The sled bit you hard, forcing a BOUNCE. You clutched it because of the violence of the bounce, before you heard the weights.

Really now, who would clutch at the big end because they thought they heard drivetrain breaking?

You had a nice hook going, parts mean nothing at that end of the track!!:pop:
Its all about the show!!!:Cheer:
