I'm looking at possibly getting some injectors and a new turbo, but since I don't know jack about turbos, I could really use some advice here.
Can't remember what alls in my sig, so the specs on my truck right now are as follows.
01 QCSB 5spd, rebuilt/upgraded, Con OFE, Edge Comp, FP/Pyro/Boost gauges, AD150, and RV275's. Still running the stock turbo. I'm thinking of doing one of two things, either just upgrading the injectors, thinking about going to 150's, on the stock turbo, I've been told I can do it, but have to be careful, or talking to Mark Burris at TDI in Indy about getting an S300 built, and still getting 150s.
So here's my questions.
Will the 150's match well with an S300? I'm trying to keep my boost levels manageable, so I don't have to upgrade to the ARP headstuds right now, and I think Mark told me that as long as I'm under 50 lbs of boost, I should be good on that. (Again, I think that's what he said)
If the 150's won't match well, what size injector would I have to go with if I do upgrade to an S300?
Also, will the Con OFE hold up to 150's and an S300, because if I'm looking at having to replace it with something else, then the whole thing is a no go for me.
Any input you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

I would atleast put some ARP headstuds in before adding a turbo. What do you do with the truck? Towrig? Daily driver? Race? Sledpull? Mudbog? Chase midgets?

trucks a dd, but hey, midget chasing sounds fun! lol
I had mentioned that to Mark Burris, about the headstudis, and he said with the right s300 setup, I could get away without needing them...think he said he could wastegate it to boost around 40-45...

My brother has rv275's with a 62/65/14, Adrenaline & con ofe. He is hitting 40psi, but I'm getting ready to put a headgasket in it & studs. It is a fun combo though, very smooth. I'd go with that for now, then add some 100's later on.

You can still blow a headgasket pushing 40lbs of boost. I wouldn't be winding it out in the revs till I had some headstuds.

this is probably what id do seth. go with a 62/65 and a new clutch.... it will spool quick and should be more than enough for your 275's and comp. and retorqe the head bolts till you can get the cash to do studs..

i just blew my headgasket at 42 psi, although i have ran the setup for almost two years now...

A 62mm s300 and some 150 injectors would be a great combo... Though, I would still go with some headstuds, they're good insurance. Send COMP461 a pm, he had the best price I could find when I got my headstuds.

i had good luck running the super phat shaft 62 from industrial injections with some 90 horse injectors from DDP. truck was great for towing and daily driving made 525 on the dyno and ran that settup for a year without head studs. good luck with what ever you decide!
