need help 2wd SCLB nv4500 guys!

Hey guys and girls. i really need a measurement of the rear drive shaft for a 2wd SCLB nv4500 dodge. im doing the swap here in a week or two and need a new shaft made since the one for the 47re is shorter. i measured the differece between the two transmissions the best i could and think the 47re is roughly 7 inches longer. the driveshaft i have now is 60 inches from weld to weld if that makes sense. that was all the wider i could reach on my own :nail: so im guessing i need one for 67 inches + the ends that will be welded on? just guessing but would like a right on answer from you. if anyone could measure theres or know on the top of their head what the length is that would be great. thanks!

Can't help you on the exact measurement, but drive shaft shops usually want the measurement from center of hole for u joint on each end

Mine was a 2-piece shaft. I used the front half from the manual and the rear half from the auto. Had to have the front half shortened @ 1/2" if I remember correctly.
