Can someone please lead me to the right direction or a thread that has an answer? My truck died on me and it says no bus in the odometer. It wont start, no gauges, no nothin but the radio... Overhead console said CCD. Any help is appreciated. rather not have to haul it home from the girlfriends, but if i have to i will...

Thanks.

Not sure, my 08' says that when i'm changing a efi tune.
It must be ecm related. Where you messing with a tuner or something?.

Yea, wasn't doin anything but driving it down the road. That was my first initial thought was the ecm died. Anyone know what that's gonna run me?

check the number 17 fuse, i think thats it. mine actually came out once.

Check to see if the PCM is sending a buss signal. If it is check the wiring to the buss. There is a buss under the dash up inside behind the OBDII port. It has white and purple wires on it. It gets a main signal feed from the PCM that supplies the buss. If the wire from the PCM has voltage it could be a broken wire at the buss under the dash. Use a continuity meter to tone the wire out. I searched for 4 hours in my friends 99 and found a wire that was broken inside its sheathing right at the buss panel. Good luck

I'm going to have a guy i know from the local dodge garage come take a look at it sometime this week. He's a big electronic guru for Dodge. a magic man with ecm's... thinkin that may be the better route.

I'll definatly take a look at this too. It happened after a long drive, half interstate and half back roads. The back roads around here aren't very kind to trucks no matter how slow you go. So it's possible that a wire came loose or somethin like that.

I had the same issue but mine was a ground on the passenger side battery. Easy enough to check.

i did check the batteries. they seem to be okay. Replaced the cam sensor last night, i had a few guys tell me to check that. still had no luck.

Update. Truck is running perfect. 1st rule of thumb, always check ALL of the fuses... #9 in the cab marked engine killed it.

seriously going to kill my truck. phukin truck died on me this morning and now it just keeps blowing fuses when i try to start it.
