need help on single for pullin and some street

i lookin to get rid of my twin for a nice single. would like it to 2.8 or 71mm. what is some way to go? i do drive it some times on the street. truck as 13mm pump, DDP stage 4 or 5x .020. suncoast 89% converter, full billit tranny, studs, o-ring, ported and polished and so on and so on. if any one has one or can think of the best set up for this let me know. fab work is no a big deal because i have a full machine shop with water jet and laser cutting machines. thanks Rich.
 
If you had a Dmax, you may be able to light it. I'd say its a no go with a CumminGs, though.LOL
 
A thousand cc's of fuel thru a 2.8 single huh??? Now thats gonna be someting to see.
 
will turn down fuel if needed. that was flowed with no plate. so if i go to #4 or #10 and smaller D/V's it will be around 650cc to 700cc. keep in mine just because you have it does not mean you need to use it.

700 cc's is still way too much for a 2.8, Unless you put an HX 82 on top of the 2.8.
Any Idea of the stand hp that this pump was flowed on??? or the test orifice used??
 
it was built by robert from shiver diesel. and was used on the stucky's race truck. he said it was flowed with the set up they run on the race truck. i just found out that #4 cylinder is low on comp and head gasket is leaking. so it's time to pull out that and start over.

Call Industrial Injection- Talk to Shane, they had a huge wastegated single at sema. I dont remember what it was gonig to be called.
 
Smokem, I thought the smallest housing you could get was a .9 A/R? So you can get a .8 A/R on those S400 turbos you have a line on?

I think one of the turbos Smokem can get ahold of or maybe a GT4294 with 1.01 turbine would be pretty kickin'.

Borg has available .9, 1.0, 1.1, and I think 1.25 in the t4 for the s400's. The housings are very inexpensive. I wouldn't suggest these ont he street much especially on a 12V
 
The Big Charger that II had at SEMA was a modified K31. Very nice! Jeremy.

Will the current twin setup be for sale?

Don't be mislead by the hype and mystery of certain turbos. Silver Bullet would be my geuss, I really need a new turbo that I can daily drive with and support atleast 550rwhp if not more. And since I am going to fab a new exhaust manifold with a larger I.D., full coatings and probably a T4 flange I think I would be best off with the smallest turbine I could get like a .8.

So how much HP are you looking at trying to make with this big single man? You could set your pump to still overfuel the turbo by a lot and then throw some mad amounts of nitrous to it, could probably break 1k hp like that :)

that's the plain! 700-800hp on #2. then 3 to 4 stage spray. i just got done with Robert from Shiver and Airwerks turbo rep. they said they will have some for me by the end of the week.
