I am swapping a NV4500 into my truck, and I want to do this right. I am planning on buying a full rebuild kit, Valair 1-3/8 Billet Input Shaft and most likely the updated Main Shaft, along with Valair Hydraulic Slave Cylinder.

I am trying to figure out what is the right clutch for me, and would appreciate some guidance.
I'm not sure how much power my truck currently makes, but I'd like to build it to around 500hp. So I was thinking about buying a 500hp clutch from either Valair or South Bend. I use my truck for Daily Driving, tow occasionally, and off road every few weeks.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

you plan on any sled pulling?

I want to, and might about 2 times a year, but that's it, if I do at all. I use this truck to daily drive everyday, I tow every once in a while. What factor does sled pulling make on choosing a clutch?

call Dan at Valair and explain to him what you plan to do and he will set you up.

if your driving on the street dont go with a sintered iron, been there done that, money in the ****ter

My recent sbcdd is sweet compared to the grabby single I was running. I don't pull, but tow a bit heavy at times.
