should i do a rebiuld or i fould a 12 valve with everything and 30k mile for $2500

You can do a head gasket easily in a weekend if it is your first time and you are halfway mechanically inclined. Make sure you check the head and block mating surfaces for flatness prior to installing the new head gasket.

Agreed.

I run a tap down the holes and make sure that all the threads are clean. Keep going until it will not go any farther, it should cut a few new threads in the block at the bottom of the hole, this will help with clearance issues. Just make sure that you have a small pick-up tool thats magnetic so that you can clean the shavings out of the holes.

ok so im just goin to buy a new head mine wont hold psi and i found a good deal a on decked out head with oring springs and a port job what do i need to run this head im getting studs but as far a set of gasket what do i need thanks for the help

when you say port job, is it ported exhaust side, or did they mill off the intake?

Still make sure and check your block for a flat deck. even more critical with a decked head. heads and blocks normally warp, just that when they're bolted together they'll often times warp as a pair. Used to have this problem on ford straight sixes.
