Hey all, I need some new shocks for the rear. Im getting wayyyyyy bad wheel hop. What brand has worked for you and where to get them from for best price??
Any suggestions?
 
id look at billies and more importantly .... traction bars

Ive thought about traction bars but I need the axle movement for trailer towing and loading the truck etc.

I talked with Joe Hellman and he suggested trying the shocks first,that I have the wrong ones for what Im doing.Which makes total sense. Great guy to talk to very helpful.:ylsuper: :thankyou2:
 
DR Sigs!!!! Specifically valved for the SD, and they give a good ride.
I dunno if they will help wheel hop or not.They don't help me, but I do have a 5" rear block.

I've had several different kinds of shocks...... Bilsteins have been the best by far. See if you can snag some 5100's or something close, they should work very well. :ylsuper:
 
Go with the Donahoe's over the Bilstein's... they are basically the same shock, but the DR is clearcoated. They are worth every penny!
